John, this is urgent. 

Republicans introduced a new bill into the House and the Senate that would set up a deceitful and harmful anti-abortion website run by the federal government. 

Not only would it sneakily direct pregnant people looking for resources to crisis pregnancy centers — “clinics” run by forced birth extremists designed to talk you out of having an abortion — it would also collect data on those very same people, including their location and contact information, and then allow someone from the government to get in touch and further dissuade them from having an abortion. 

This is despicable, dystopian nightmare stuff. The last thing we need is the federal government keeping data on pregnant people in this country — especially when the threat of a national abortion ban looms overhead.
