- Helped passed the Equality Act to prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex, gender identity, and sexual orientation
- Introduced bipartisan legislation in the House to strengthen and secure our elections against malicious foreign interference
- Passed the Raise the Wage Act to gradually raise the federal minimum wage to $15/hour
- Earned an early 2020 endorsement from the reproductive freedom organization NARAL
