Dear Friend,
Yesterday was my first day as Ruth's List Interim CEO, and I’m thrilled to be joining the team at such an important time as we build towards 2024 and beyond. I’ve been a longtime supporter and advocate of the work this organization has done and the unique role they play in our state, and I'm truly honored to have the support of the staff and Board as I take over at the helm.
I know I have big shoes to fill. My predecessor, Lucy Sedgwick, has truly revitalized Ruth's List during her tenure. She nearly doubled the organization's budget, assembled one of the most talented teams I've ever seen in the state, and helped successfully elect more than 60 Democratic pro-choice women to office. I'm ready to jump in with both feet to continue growing our resources and building our capacity, ensuring Ruth's List remains a force in Florida politics for years to come.
Will you help me kick off my new role at Ruth's List by making a contribution to ensure we have the resources to build on our record of success?
I'm grateful to have so much support as we begin this transition. I look forward to our partnership and all that we will accomplish together in the months ahead! Onward, |
