PERKINS: In Memphis, Justice Is Turned Back |
by Tony Perkins |
It was a somber scene in Memphis on Wednesday - a scene Americans have lived through with tragic frequency these past few years. As mourners filled Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church to remember 29-year-old Tyre Nichols, the senselessness of his death at the hands of five police officers reverberated through the pews. On Wednesday, February 1, thousands of Virginians from across the state swarmed on the capital city of Richmond to demonstrate their passionate desire to protect their state's littlest citizens from abortion. After the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in the historic Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization case, pro-life Americans are increasingly taking to their state capitols to advocate for pro-life legislation defending the unborn. |
