Friday February 3, 8:00 pm Symposium

How did our nation become so violent?? Can something be done through the schools to give our young people a more optimistic outlook on life?? One of the most destructive trends in education in recent years has been the removal of classical music from the public schools. Attend a concert at Lincoln Center, and most of the audience appears to be wealthy, and over the age of 70.? In China, the concert halls are filled with young people.? In the United States there are 16 times more drug overdose deaths per capita than in China. My campaign is dedicated to making Classical music the music of the people, not a dead thing, only enjoyed by the elite.? Tonight I'll be talking with a group of music educators from New York, Boston, and Chicago.? If you have children, or grandchildren, or plan to, you need to hear this.

As always, participation in the Sare for Senate Symposium does not constitute endorsement of any political campaign, and the views expressed by my speakers are their own.
