Indy residents are facing increasing housing costs and higher property taxes, on top of the rising cost of everyday goods.
All levels of government should be working to help residents combat inflation. That's why last fall, Isigned Proposal 310, which grants a one-time $100 property tax prepayment to Marion County homeowners with properties valued at $400,000 or less. For properties valued at $250,000 or less, that savings goes up to $150.
Nearly 90% of owner-occupied single-family households will receive support from this proposal!
It's no wonder the City-Council passed Proposal 310 in bipartisan, unanimous fashion.
This move builds on our ongoing City-supported efforts to help out renters and homeowners alike, including over $175 million distributed through the IndyRent program, along with investments in Tenant Legal Assistance and other resources.
