Friend—Always wanted to run the New York City Half-Marathon but needed the extra push to do so? Well, here's your motivation! Run with Immigration Equality's Team Hope on March 15th—so you can cross the finish line for yourself and for LGBTQ refugees in need of free legal services.
We are proud to be an Official Charity Partner of the 2020 New York City Half-Marathon, which gives us a platform to raise critical funds for our live-saving work. As a member of Team Hope, you commit to raising $1,000 for Immigration Equality. We only have two spots left, so please respond as soon as possible to claim your place in the race! As a member of Immigration Equality's Team Hope, you will receive:
* Guaranteed entry into the 2020 United Airlines New York City Half-Marathon (race fee fully covered - $130 for New York Road Runners members/$145 for non-members)
* Exclusive Immigration Equality t-shirt and gear
* Free access to Immigration Equality social events throughout the season
We'll help you fundraise by providing you:
* A personal fundraising website
* A fundraising toolkit, training, and support provided by the Immigration Equality Development staff to generate donor interest
As a member of the team you will be required to raise a minimum of $1,000 for Immigration Equality to run the race. If you are unable to raise this amount your credit card will be charged the difference after March 13th, 2020.
