I'm Hormonal And Living With Four Very Hormonal Kids — Send Help

Like so many of us, Vanessa Kroll Bennett has a rough ride the last few days before her period: “I hate everyone and everything in my house — my husband, my kids, my dog, my dishwasher. A red mist of loathing descends upon my being and I want to bang my fists on the kitchen floor like a 3-year-old.” Here’s the problem: she’s also got four kids, all of them tween and teens, and they’re hormonal, too. And so she’s living in the midst of absolute emotional chaos.

She’s managing, though, as best she can, and wants to share what she’s learned from this chaotic period of her life.
