Tell your Senator:
"I’m urging you to cosponsor the Save the Internet Act, and to call on Majority Leader McConnell to allow a vote on this crucial legislation."

John,
We can’t let corporations control the internet.
Donald Trump’s FCC gave a giant handout to the telecom industry by repealing net neutrality, which made the internet an open platform for ideas and innovation.
Thanks to that, telecoms like Comcast can throttle access to parts of the internet that don’t pay up―sometimes slowing down Netflix or Amazon.
This sets up a two-tiered system that will stifle the next Wikipedia or Netflix from emerging, and could also have chilling effects on speech.
What if Fox News was the only news site that could load quickly? How would people know what to believe about Social Security—or any other issue?
Social Security Works is proud to stand with our allies in calling for the restoration of an open internet. We need your voice!
The House of Representatives passed a bill, the Save the Internet Act, to restore net neutrality rules. But Mitch McConnell is refusing to allow a vote on it in the Senate―even after it received bipartisan support in the last Congress.
ADD YOUR NAME: Restore Net Neutrality! Tell the Senate to pass the Save the Internet Act!
Thank you,
Alex Lawson Social Security Works
