It may be early 2023, but the race for 2024 has already started. Cook Political Report just released their initial 2024 House Ratings, and NM-02 has once again been named a top toss-up seat.

Last November, Gabe won this critical House seat by a slim 0.68% margin, which was the closest Democratic congressional win in 2022. That means he’s the most vulnerable House Democrat up for re-election in 2024.

This announcement by Cook Political Report is a reminder that we’re in for yet another competitive race, and our former far-right extremist opponent Yvette Herrell has already filed for a rematch against Gabe.

It is imperative that we protect Gabe’s seat in Congress so he can continue to give NM-02 the leadership we deserve. And with only five seats needed to flip the House from red to blue, it’s crucial we defend this one from being flipped red again.
