The Taliban’s persecution of LGBTIQ people has intensified over its first 18 months back in power in Afghanistan.

This webinar will discuss a new report by Outright based on testimony from more than 20 LGBTQ people in Afghanistan. It will feature an Afghan activist who conducted much of the research. We will also be joined by Rainbow Railroad, which is assisting LGBTIQ people seeking to relocate from the region. Opening remarks will be provided by our executive director, Maria Sjödin.
