I wanted to make sure you all saw this news because it may have flown under the radar. About two weeks ago, a Planned Parenthood clinic in Peoria, Illinois, was nearly burned to the ground in a despicable act of vandalism. |

This attack was part of a very troubling trend emerging across the nation. The fear is that anti-choice extremists have been empowered by the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and are taking matters into their own hands. This week, the FBI even confirmed they’re now investigating a string of unsolved attacks on reproductive health facilities.
I want to be very clear, friend: I will never cave to intimidation and attacks on health care facilities in the communities I represent. These cowardly acts will only make me fight harder to protect every woman’s right to choose.
These vandalizations have caused millions of dollars in damages and forced some clinics to close indefinitely -- making it harder for women to seek care. We need to stand strong against these attacks. So today, I’m asking you to join me in supporting Planned Parenthood during this difficult time:
