Tim Kaine has officially launched his Senate re-election bid. I am excited to keep the band together and continue our work together for Virginia. But I also think we need to be clear about what’s coming, because we know Republicans are going to try to capture his seat and flip the Senate next year.
The truth is, we have a challenge ahead, team. We all remember how good of a year 2018 was for Democrats, back when Tim was running the last time. But candidly, 2024 is shaping up to be a tougher year. I know Tim is going to run a winning campaign once again, but we’re all going to have to work even harder this time around to make sure we send him back to the Senate next November.
