When we released that launch video last Monday morning, I had no idea what to expect. I figured a bunch of people would contribute and share the video, but 40,000+ donations and almost two million views in ten days was beyond my wildest dreams.

People who grow up with my background are statistically more likely to end up in prison than Congress. Far more likely.

I think back to the kid who slept on the floor because we couldn’t afford anything else, and it’s more than surreal.

It’s mind-blowing.

So thank you.

This is only the beginning of what will be a long journey to victory next November. But I am extraordinarily thankful to know we’re in this together.
