Hello John,

I am thrilled to announce that, starting immediately, Tim Grose will be leading our staff as the next Executive Director of the Maine Democratic Party. I know many of you had a chance to work with Tim during the 2022 election season. As Maine Dems Field Director, he managed our statewide grassroots organizing program and led our party to a full-ticket victory in November. I have absolutely no doubt he will continue to lead our party to victory in this new role.

For those of you who haven’t had the opportunity to work with Tim before, you’re in for a treat. Tim is a lifelong Mainer, born and raised in Biddeford. He’s held leadership roles on three separate statewide Democratic campaigns – everything from a Regional Field Director to campaign Operations Director. As we continue to build momentum ahead of 2023 and 2024 elections, I know we’ll all be grateful for Tim’s expertise, leadership, and patience along the way.

Organizing, fundraising, and managing messaging across all sixteen counties is no small task. I am so grateful to our amazing, talented staff who do a tremendous amount of work behind the scenes to ensure our party continues to run smoothly. In my opinion, assembling a skilled team is the most important function of the Party Chair – one that is absolutely critical to our party’s future success.
