Friend,
Back in the day, I never imagined I’d run for the U.S. Senate – let alone become one of the first women senators in history to represent Nevada. You see, before I ever set foot in Congress, I worked as a computer programmer and systems analyst in what has long been a male-dominated field.
During that time in my life, I saw firsthand the pay discrimination and challenges facing so many women in the workplace. Even today, women are still having these same experiences and still fighting for equal pay for equal work.
But it's this experience that has driven so much of my work in the Senate to stand up for women and families. It's why I fight so hard for paycheck fairness, for paid family leave, and for women's equal rights.
It's also why I have a wall in my office that's filled with photos of fierce, dedicated, trailblazing women who have paved the way for me and fought for our rights throughout history. They remind me every day of what we can collectively achieve when we set our goals high – and that this fight for full equality is far from over.
But to continue this critical fight in the Senate, I urgently need your help. With FiveThirtyEight reporting that Republicans have "a clear path" to winning back the majority, election experts say that my seat is one of the GOP's best pickup opportunities – which means I'm a top target for defeat.
So please, friend, if you're standing with me in the fight to keep Nevada blue, defend the Senate for Democrats, and continue working toward true equality in our country, will you chip in $5 or more now?
Thank you. Together, I know we can keep breaking down barriers and keep working to lift up women in Nevada and across the country.

Jacky
