Here's what this "Black studies" controversy is all about.  Governor DeSantis, the White guy, is worried that these courses will present material to Florida students that are based on opinion, not facts.The very well-publicized "1619 Project," touted by The New York Times, is a great example.  Here we have a so-called historian putting forth that America was developed with slavery being the motivating force everywhere.
