Republicans are threatening to literally annihilate the U.S., and even the world economy.

This isn't hyperbole, it's what will happen, according to Chief Economist at Moody's Analytics, Mark Zandi, if Republicans act like the spoiled brats they are and refuse to raise the debt ceiling like every other Congress has done in our history. This isn't future debt, it is debt we've already incurred.

Not paying it back is telling the world we're not to be trusted, and if we do that, look out, because, according to Zandi, within hour--HOURS--we can expect investors to get spooked, interest rates to spike causing a housing crisis, the stock market to crash, "we're all be worth a lot less" so the economy will go deeply into recession, perhaps depression, immediately.

This is what Republicans would do, not because there is any principle behind it--under Donald Trump they went on such a bender they increased our national debt by 7.8 trillion. That is TRILLION--just because they have attracted career criminals, domestic terrorists, conspiracy addled dingbats & those suffering from clinical narcissism and antisocial personality disorder into their leadership ranks.

You don't hear this from the mainstream media, because, sadly, they won't tell this story. They are still scared of looking partisan, the wrath of right-wing publishers/owners, tied to their ridiculous both sides frame. They are failing us.
