Humane border policies are possible. Here are five solutions.

The United States continues to struggle to create and implement humane border policies that respect domestic and international law and the dignity of people seeking protection. Proposed plan would force rapid screening and deportation of asylum seekers

The Biden administration is reportedly planning to reinstate another Trump-era policy restricting access to asylum at the border by forcing people who are seeking safety to quickly present their claims in border patrol detention centers and face rapid deportation.
