Look, when Trump described the city of Baltimore as a "very dangerous and filthy place" that's a “rat and rodent infested mess," he left out some key details about Maryland's 7th Congressional District:

It's home to Johns Hopkins Hospital, one of our country's most well-known and well-respected medical centers;

Beyond the beauty of the Inner Harbor, you'll find the proud patriotic history of Fort McHenry; and
-
We're talking about a district whose median income is higher than the national average.
But no, friend, Donald Trump is ignoring these incredible realities of a majority Black district in favor of lobbing racist tropes at a brave Black leader like Elijah Cummings.
(Perhaps he's forgotten that he's president of the entire United States? Which includes Baltimore in case that wasn't obvious…)
