Margaret is the outreach coordinator for Plant NOVA Natives/Plant NOVA Trees, a regional campaign to promote the use of native plants in general and native trees in particular in our landscaping. ?She is also a Fairfax Master Naturalist, an Audubon at home ambassador, ?and a volunteer stream monitor.
Trees are a natural climate solution, essential for mitigating the effects of heat and stormwater runoff. In particular, native trees are the backbone of our ecosystem.
Come hear about the regional native tree campaign and the role each of us can play. ?Learn what each of us can do to preserve this natural resource that is part of the climate solution. Discover what actions you can take.
