A lot has already happened in the new Republican-controlled House. Republicans have voted to rein in the IRS, protect unborn life, and most importantly, end the practice of selling our strategic oil reserves to adversarial foreign countries, like China. 

It should really be a no-brainer: Energy independence and producing our own energy is vital to the health of Texas and America. Here in TX-36, we have some of the largest supplies of natural gas and petroleum, and one of the largest ports in the country. Producing our own energy will be vital to getting our country back on track.

Congressman Babin has been at the forefront of promoting energy independence in Washington, and with a new Congress, he plans to make it a reality once again!
