Throughout the month of February, we recognize the legacy and accomplishments of Black Americans in our country. 

We have so much history in our state of North Carolina, and I encourage you to get out, learn about the historical events that have taken place in our community. 

This month and every month, let’s educate ourselves on the history of our community and appreciate the impacts that African Americans have had on the culture of our state.
