Folks,

Yesterday, I found out that disgraced GOP Rep. George Santos was stepping down from his assignments on the Science, Space and Technology Committee and the Small Business Committee.

To be candid, this is only a partial victory. He refuses to step down from Congress, despite leaders from both parties demanding his resignation, and at any time, spineless Speaker Kevin McCarthy could hand Santos back his committee assignments.

But either way, it’s proof that even in the age of the Big Lie, the facts still matter. Protest still works. Folks still care about accountability from their leaders, and they’re willing to fight for it.

For now, only Santos is caving to the pressure – but we can’t stop there.

We need to turn up the heat on the MAGA Republicans whose lies put our democracy in danger every day. So, I’ll ask: Will you chip in $10 today to help us hold Santos and the entire GOP accountable?
