When Is Enough Enough?

Impeachment hearings have begun

with respected witnesses & testimony

& an abundance of evidence we already knew

(while the GOP peddles right-wing theories).

When can we say enough is enough

and just impeach already?

Compelling Dem candidates are battling

for frontrunner status before Iowa --

yes Big Business Democrats

urge Bloomberg & Patrick into the race.

When can we say enough candidates

& see the field finally narrow, not grow?

Trump used his foundation for personal gain.

He separated even more kids than we knew.

He sides with Turkey's strongman against Kurds

& a military coup against Bolivia's leader.

When can we say enough is enough

& politicians, media, voters fully reject Trump ?

It's a week when we've have more than enough

— enough evidence, enough corruption,

enough candidates, enough GOP distraction.

Now let's say enough is enough already?

A week for the history books, a night for the bar

where you can talk, drink, schmooze, learn

at your local progressive social club.
