Here’s the biggest step forward thus far: Government watchdogs have started to set climate risk disclosure standards for companies. This would put climate change at the center of investment plans, which could help promote sustainable practices in the private sector.

That’s right, Kevin McCarthy, Ron DeSantis, and House Republicans are pushing out a narrative of "woke capitalism" as a way to scare and shame companies from advancing climate change policies. They’re trying to elevate responsible corporate climate practices into their identity politics. We are at a tipping point with the climate crisis. promoting
legislation
barring
state
pension
funds
from
considering
the
climate
in
their
investment
decisions.
