Biden campaigned on the promise that he would prioritize our immigrant communities
Friend - Remember way back to the 2020 presidential campaign trail?
Biden campaigned on the promise that he would make our immigrant communities a priority, but we have seen only the opposite in his actions as president.đ In the last 2 years, he let DACA recipients like me remain under right wing attacks in the courts, expanded Trumpâs Title 42 policy limiting immigrantsâ right to seek asylum, and signed several pieces of major legislation without including a pathway to citizenship.
Next week, President Biden delivers his 3rd State of the Union address - a speech often used for the President to recap their accomplishments made for the country over the past year. đĄBut our immigrant communities have seen little accomplished in terms of the promises he made to us. Biden must address his broken promises made to the immigrant community during his State of the Union! Will you join us in our demand to Biden by signing our petition today?
âď¸When you add your name to our petition to President Biden, youâre joining activists across the country in demanding he detail his plan of action for:
Protecting DACA recipients and all immigrant youth
Ending Title 42 & protecting access to the Asylum process
Pushing for a pathway to citizenship for all 11+ million undocumented immigrants
