Virtual electrical inspections now available
Video capture
Electrical Remote Virtual Inspections are now available for electrical contractors in some areas of Minnesota. The inspections are conducted remotely using a mobile device with the on-site electrical contractor. The program is expected to expand to additional areas of Minnesota later this year.
Electrical Remote Virtual Inspections will allow for inspections at the time of project completion, or after corrections are made, while work crews are still on site, avoiding the need for return trips to complete minor corrections or to final a permit when corrections have been made.
