When Donald Trump’s 6-3 Supreme Court Majority overturned Roe v. Wade, we promised we would not turn back the clock on reproductive rights in Minnesota as long as we remained in office.

Yesterday, we delivered on that promise. The PRO Act is signed into law, making Minnesota the first state in the country to codify the fundamental right to an abortion since the devastating Dobbs decision.

To all the advocates who prepared us for this fight in ways large and small: This victory is yours. Reproductive freedom was on the ballot in November, and we wouldn’t be here today without you.
