I-794 in Milwaukee is nominated for Congress for the New Urbanism’s 2023 Freeways Without Futures report. Rethink 794 joins nine other campaigns advocating for equity and reconnection during a time of reckoning for North American urban freeway infrastructure. The ten campaigns in this report offer a roadmap to better health, equity, opportunity, and connectivity in every neighborhood, while reversing decades of decline and disinvestment.

The Rail Plan establishes a long-term vision for a statewide rail system that offers efficient and equitable passenger and freight service, and identifies potential investments in rail infrastructure to secure and strengthen Wisconsin's economic vitality.

Safe Routes, Safer Communities

1000 Friends of Wisconsin was awarded a grant from Center on Wisconsin Strategy (COWS) in partnership with two Green Tier Legacy Communities (GTLC) to improve community health by promoting pedestrian and bicycle access for children and families, specifically by addressing active transportation gaps to schools and parks.
