With a booming economy, hundreds of new residents every day, and our highest credit rating ever, Arizona’s finances have never been better. That’s great news for our state, but it doesn’t mean we’re going on a spending spree. Not even close.
We just released a balanced budget that is fiscally conservative while investing in top priorities like education, infrastructure and more. We’re maintaining fiscal discipline, preparing for the future, saving more for a rainy day and ensuring the important investments we’re making in teacher raises, public schools and students, roads and bridges, rural jobs and technology and more are sustainable.
We’re also returning dollars to those who have sacrificed the most: our veterans — because that’s The Arizona Way.
