Just a few weeks into the GOP-controlled House, we have seen a barrage of attacks against the wellbeing of regular families.

We’ve seen multiple bills to restrict the right to an abortion.

We’ve seen a bill to inflict a 30% national sales tax on everything from gas to groceries. (In fact, Kevin McCarthy promised his GOP colleagues he would bring that disgraceful bill to the floor in exchange for the Speakership.)

We’ve seen threats to cut Social Security and Medicare.

We’ve seen far-right election deniers like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert get appointed to powerful committees.

Friend, I’m fighting hard every day against this kind of extremism — and to make progress creating more opportunities for the regular families I promised I would help. But if we’re going to win these fights over the long haul — and retake control of Congress next year — I need your support.
