ABC News: "Everytown launches campaign demanding colleges, universities
divest from gun industry"

John,

Gun violence is the number one killer of children and teens in the U.S.
But the gun industry—which rakes in an estimated $9 billion each year—has
refused calls to make its products safer and halt dangerous marketing
practices, often focused on our nation's youth.

That's why Students Demand Action just launched #KillerBusiness, a
campaign calling on colleges and universities nationwide to divest from
the firearms industry.

Throughout the #KillerBusiness campaign, Students Demand Action volunteers
around the country will be organizing college campuses to hold their
schools accountable for their investments and the economic role they play
in supporting a killer industry.

This is just one of many ways we're taking action to end gun violence.
From college campuses to city councils to statehouses and Congress, more
people are stepping up every day to take action with Everytown, Students
Demand Action, and Moms Demand Action. We're becoming advocates,
activists, and even running for office to tackle our gun violence crisis.

Together, we're making gun safety an issue our politicians can't ignore,
because our lives are on the line.
