You can look around and see for yourself that GOP leadership is already a disaster for the country. Over these past few weeks, they have all shown their true colors.
McCarthy failed FOURTEEN TIMES to become Speaker of the House, stalling all House business for days and making closed door deals with MAGA extremists like Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene.
MAGA hostage McCarthy then made good on those deals by removing me from the House Intelligence Committee, an act of pure vengeance.
And now, the GOP is threatening a debt ceiling showdown that could create utter chaos for our economy.
Make no mistake, these people are content to burn it all down if it means they’ll stay in power. And if this month is any indication of what they’re capable of, bets are off with what they’ll try to pull next. That’s why I’m so committed to holding them accountable, no matter the cost.
