We will never stop fighting.

Dear John,

Let me be clear: they’re coming for our birth control. But we’re not going to let them win.

Today, the Supreme Court announced it will hear a case that could threaten birth control coverage. The Trump-Pence administration wants to let employers and schools take away the birth control coverage people are guaranteed under the Affordable Care Act. Courts have blocked Trump’s efforts so far, but now the Supreme Court will hear one of the cases.

We have to keep fighting to protect birth control.

Thanks to a nationwide injunction against the Trump-Pence administration, the ACA’s birth control benefit is still in effect . . . for now. We know the administration will stop at nothing to strip away our right to birth control. We will continue fighting — in Congress, in the states, and in court — to make sure birth control remains accessible and affordable. Everyone deserves to get the birth control they need, when they need it.

The National Women’s Law Center has a long history of defending our right to birth control. We worked to make sure coverage of birth control was included in the Affordable Care Act and held health insurance companies accountable when they didn’t cover birth control as the law intends. And we’ve been fighting to protect birth control coverage, even taking the Trump administration to court when they tried to take it away.

Where you work or go to school shouldn’t determine whether you can access birth control. Join the fight for our rights by making a donation now.

John, access to birth control means everything to me. It’s my life’s work. As a lawyer here, I promise, I’ll give all I have to this fight. Join me by making a donation today.

Sincerely,

Mara Gandal-Powers
