It's late, so I'll get right to the point.

Tonight at midnight is my first end-of-month deadline since Republicans took control of the House and launched a new select committee to use the federal government's power to terrorize Trump's enemies.

As the ranking member of the Judiciary Committee, I'm leading the fight to defend our democracy, but I can't do it alone.
