I wanted to take a moment to quickly check in ahead of our first end-of-month deadline of 2023 and share why it's crucial we reach our fundraising goal.
Last November, I was one of only five Democrats to win a House race in a district Donald Trump carried in 2020. Republicans spent millions of dollars to defeat me, but because of the support of this grassroots team, I was able to beat my Republican opponent by less than three points.
That race proved Pennsylvania's 8th District is still a true swing district, which means Republicans will once again try to flip it to grow their narrow House majority. If we're going to protect this seat and retake the House majority in 2024, we need to get to work right away.
