Maine State Parks

Reid State Park Temporarily Closed Beginning on February 1 for Reconstruction of the Park's Griffith Head Bridge and Entrance.

Reid State Park will be closed starting February 1st through the month of February, at minimum, to all visitors. *NOTE* that this closure includes walk-in access*. This is out of concern for the safety of our visitors during the construction of a new entrance station and bridge.

* Text REID to 888-514-7527 to subscribe to updates from the park and to get notified of the park's reopening.

Improvements to Reid and other State Parks are supported by funding through the Maine Jobs and Recovery Plan. We look forward to everyone enjoying these new modifications this spring!

"*This is an updated announcement from the February BPL newsletter that was sent out on 1/26."
