I wanted to take a moment to say thank you.

I’m honored to be wrapping up the first month of my second term in Congress, and supporters like you made that possible. Whether you’ve chipped in to support my campaign, knocked on doors during election season, or just taken the time to open emails like this one, I’m truly grateful to have you on this team.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again now: I will always work tirelessly for you and your loved ones — no matter what you do for a living, what your zip code is, or even if you voted for me or not. I’ll never put partisan politics over the folks I was elected to serve.

But I can’t do this work alone — especially now that Republicans control the House majority and decided that their very first order of business would be advancing anti-abortion legislation. If that’s their priority, then we’ve certainly got our work cut out for us to fight back, and to ensure that our government is actually serving the people who elected us.
