John, I’m going to pull back the curtain a bit and explain why we need to raise $3,125 for our FIRST End of Month fundraising deadline of 2023.

Together, we built a momentous grassroots movement and supported progressives up and down the ballot, including helping defend Governor Cooper’s veto power to protect abortion rights. Now, because of that work, we have a chance to use that power to build up our resources to expand Democratic power and fight for future generations.

But the GOP is determined to outspend progressives and win big in local elections – putting the very state of our democracy in a vulnerable position.

John, we can’t take anything for granted and we can’t sit on the sidelines. This is our chance to prove just how strong our grassroots movement is, but we need your help RIGHT NOW!

I’ll be honest with you, the only way we can make a difference is by raising enough money to help progressives secure Democratic majorities in key local elections. If we don’t hit our goal tonight, we risk a GOP takeover and the end of our most fundamental rights.

It is going to take continuous, sustained organizing to create the Brighter Future we deserve – which is why we need to raise $3,125 in just 8 hours.
