John,
In just a moment, I’m going to ask if you can pitch in to support my work in Arizona ahead of tonight’s end-of-month fundraising deadline.
But first, I wanted to tell you a little more about how I got here.
As a young girl growing up in Tempe, my family struggled. Sometimes we had to rely on food stamps or our church community just to make ends meet. My parents taught me the value of a dollar and the dignity of hard work, and it was through my faith that I first got into public service as a volunteer at my church.
After putting myself through college and graduate school, I began working as a social worker in Phoenix. Every day, I saw so many hard-working families like mine struggling to get by, pay their medical bills, and provide for their kids. Arizonans were paying the price for the failures of our elected officials — and I was fed up.
I knew that to change our government, we needed to change the people working within it. So I decided to run for office, and I haven’t lost an election since.
That includes the 2022 election against MAGA conspiracy theorist Kari Lake. Thanks to folks like you, we won that closely-watched, toss-up race — and I’ve spent the last month getting to work for the people of Arizona as our state’s 24th Governor.
Now, I’m asking for your support as my administration and I do everything in our power to deliver solutions to the challenges Arizonans are facing across the state. Can I count on you to pitch in a donation before tonight’s deadline?
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Thank you for everything,
Katie
