It was an incredibly moving experience to welcome home more than 150 service members of the Arizona National Guard 253rd Engineer Battalion who just returned from the Middle East. We are so grateful for these brave men and women and their families here in Arizona. Welcome Home!

Casework Highlight

A constituent contacted our office to check on the status of her mother’s claim for her survivor’s pension and benefits through the Department of Veterans Affairs. She had made many attempts to check on the status with no definitive answer as to whether or not it had been approved or denied. Our office was able to check on the status and the claim was approved! Having this claim approved will help relieve the financial burden on their family now that her father has passed and her mother is in assisted living.

Mobile Office Hours in Sun City West and El Mirage

Constituents seeking assistance with Social Security, Medicare, veteran and military issues, or other federal agencies will be able to meet with a member of my staff in Sun City West and El Mirage on Thursday, January 23. Here are the details:
