John, let me cut
through the BS and tell you exactly what the number one problem I plan to
solve in the Senate is: the influence of billionaires and the most
powerful corporations.

Washington caters to the desires of billionaires and the most powerful
corporations, and leaves families behind. That corruption has eroded the
integrity of all our political institutions, especially Congress.

The power of special interests in Washington is at an all-time high, and
while Republicans have been the worst offenders of this, some members of
both parties share responsibility.

Our next Senator should be fighting for Californians, not corporations.

I’m proud to be the only candidate in this race who has never taken a dime
of corporate PAC money. I’m one of just a handful of Congressmembers who
doesn’t accept federal lobbyist contributions. It’s my job to fight
corruption, and I know how to stand up against powerful interests in
Washington.
