Impulsive, emotional decisions are out of character for me.
I am the guy who had a four-year plan to get into Harvard even though my family was dirt poor.
So I thought long and hard about the decision to run for the United States Senate.
I prepared for it long before the possibility of Senator Sinema’s party switch.
I came to the conclusion that as a Marine, a Latino, and someone with a record of standing up for working people, we can build a coalition that can win a 2-way race, 3-way race, 27-way race... doesn’t matter.
The only open question was whether the grassroots support would be there. And I thought it would be. So far, I’ve been right.
But tonight is the first major test of our campaign. Because at midnight, we close the books on our first end-of-month fundraising deadline.
So with time running out, I am asking:
If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution instantly.
Thank you, and adiós,
Ruben
