During the Trump Administration, I was the public servant in the National Security Council responsible for Russia and Ukraine policy.

My responsibility was shepherding what should have been a national security strategy to advance U.S. national security interests.

Meanwhile, the President and some of his compatriots were looking to advance personal interests, to steal a second Trump administration. I reported the corrupt scheme.

This made me the target of a lot of far-right hate. Hate that continues to this day.

But when I needed it most, when the attacks started, VoteVets had my back. They did it when it wasn’t easy. They did it when it made them a target as well.

So now that VoteVets is coming up on its first end-of-month fundraising deadline for the 2024 campaign, I want to help them. I want to help them meet their funding goals.
