It’s true – the fight for fair redistricting isn’t over!

That’s because voters across the country are challenging gerrymandered maps in their states. If they’re successful, these states could be required to implement new, fair maps before the 2024 election.

Now, we have two options, John:

OPTION ONE: We can do nothing.

We can cross our fingers, and we can hope that new maps in key battleground states are fairly drawn and that map-manipulating politicians aren’t allowed to gerrymander their way into unearned power.

OPTION TWO: We can keep fighting for fair maps!

Ahead of the 2022 elections, the NDRC’s efforts to mobilize communities, support plaintiffs in lawsuits, hold map-manipulating politicians accountable, and more helped secure what The New York Times called “the fairest House map of the last 40 years.”

If we continue implementing this proven strategy, we can help ensure the maps are even fairer in 2024!
