Advancing American Freedom is the latest threat to reproductive health.
Friend,
If you haven’t heard of the organization Advancing American Freedom, it’s time to put it on your radar. AAF is former Vice President Mike Pence’s organization focused on banning abortion federally and restricting birth control — and the worst part is, they actually have a plan.
AAF recently released a full legislative framework centered around restricting reproductive rights and there are some extremely dangerous bills on their To-Do list. AAF recommends the passage of a national heartbeat bill, a full defunding of Planned Parenthood, and they’re running anti-abortion candidates at every level of government — including at the state level.
If Pence allies were elected AG, their actions would be detrimental to the future of abortion access. For example, after an Indiana county court ruled that the state’s constitution blocked a statewide abortion ban from going into effect, Indiana GOP AG Todd Rokita immediately announced he would be fighting the ruling to stop “pro-abortion extremists hellbent on tearing down Indiana’s culture of life."
He got one thing right, we are hellbent — on expanding abortion access around the country and fighting back against dangerous extremists like Mike Pence. In fact, we represent the majority opinion of Americans who believe abortion access should be safe and legal.
