I wanted to reach out with a quick update before our monthly fundraising deadline tomorrow. This is our first opportunity to demonstrate the power of our grassroots team, so we need a strong showing.

The GOP is already widely recruiting for a top-notch candidate to run in this toss-up district. We flipped this seat in 2018, after it was held by Republicans for 21 years, and they really want it back.

The best way for me to deter anyone from throwing their hat in the ring is to have a robust campaign bank account. It has consistently been shown that early money is the best way to win a campaign – partly because it encourages others to also give, but mostly because potential opponents are scared off by incumbents who have plenty of cash on hand.

I’m determined to hold on to my seat and keep advocating for Pennsylvania families and workers on the issues that matter most. If you’re with me, I hope you’ll chip in $5 or more before our January fundraising deadline.
