I have to tell you, team – I’ve never been a big fan of asking for money.

In fact, it’s my least favorite part of campaigning! I’d much rather be out knocking doors and talking to families about the issues that matter to them.

But, what I found out this morning was too urgent not to reach out about: We’re at risk of falling behind on our end-of-month goal.

Look, I have to explain why this goal is important – but if you’re crunched for time, all that I ask is that you chip in $15 or more to help reach my end-of-month goal before Tuesday at midnight.

Republicans have brought so much chaos to the House in their first month. A weeks-long battle to pick their Speaker, appointing the most far-right members to important House Committees, and even attacking the right to a safe abortion.

Yeah, it’s really bad.

Luckily, me and my fellow Democrats are united in our mission to do whatever it takes to stop the House GOP Majority from enacting their outrageous agenda.

If left unchecked, they’d gut Social Security and Medicare, strip affordable health care access, and set us back generations in the fight against climate change.

And while I’ve been focused on containing this dumpster fire of a House Majority, I’ve also remained focused on continuing our organizing efforts across Louisville. We can’t let the GOP flip the only Democratic seat in Kentucky come 2024 – I won’t have it.
