[1]NNU - Medicare for All!

We have an exciting announcement:

Dr. Abdul El-Sayed will be joining our national organizing call tomorrow
night to talk about the importance of our fight to pass Medicare for All!

Abdul is a physician, epidemiologist, and public servant, and the incoming
director of Wayne County’s Department of Health, Human & Veterans
Services, serving 1.8 million residents of Michigan’s largest and most
diverse county. He ran on a platform of Medicare for All in his campaign
for Michigan governor in 2018, is the author of Medicare for All: A
Citizen’s Guide, and testified in the first ever Senate Medicare for All
hearing last May alongside our very own Executive Director, Bonnie
Castillo, RN. He is an expert on public health, and we’re thrilled that he
is part of our movement for Medicare for All.

We have a lot of exciting plans coming this year, and we can’t wait for
you to get involved.

Our movement is in a better position than ever to gain support for
Medicare for All in Congress. Our organizing efforts are going to be
critical to the reintroduction of the House and Senate bills. Now we have
to take action.

We’re going to need your help to continue pushing to gain new cosponsors,
help move the national single-payer movement forward, and stand up to
corporate influence in our politics. [ [link removed] ]RSVP now for tomorrow night’s
call.

See you there,
